Santa Maria del Tula

The largest tree in the world according to the Mexican people. The Cyprus tree trunk is 50 foot thick and it's 2000 years old. Originally it grew in a marsh surrounded by the Tula plant but the marsh dried up and the tree almost died. An nature group created an elaborate irrigation system under it to feed it water. It drinks a couple thousand gallons per day of water!
